Having lived all my life in the Eastern Sierra, I assumed that Bishop, the hub of the Eastern Sierra packing world, simply was „The Mule Capital of the World.“ No questions asked, no other answers required. As my worldview expanded, I found out that proud mule people all over the United States challenged my assumptions!
