Non-Picture Edition. This book is about the experiences the author had while acquiring, breaking, riding and packing 33 mules over the past 45 years. Ken Emerson’s experiences take place in Northeast Oregon. He worked for the State of Oregon’s Game Commission, Wildlife Commission, and Department of Fish and Wildlife for 29 years. Ken has worked with mules and horses in the wilderness areas and back country of Oregon and Idaho. He has also competed in mule shows in Northeast Oregon. Some of you who read of his experiences will no doubt utter the phrase “Been There, Done That” !!
